Noyaborga was established primarily to test and establish the ‘Mechanical Yard System’ at the local level as an institutional innovation for the machinery rental service business proposed by a research team at the University of Tsukuba, Japan. Under a collaborative agreement between the University of Tsukuba and Noyaborga Limited, we developed a business plan and made a strategic collaboration with the Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bogura, to provide machinery rental services to the resource-poor farmers (RPFs) in the project areas where the Local Village Committee (LVC) members and farmers have been trained and organized under a collaborative project with RDA and GRIPS, Tokyo.
