Position Title: Program Officer (Research & Field Implementation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and executing annual and quarterly work plans for research and field projects.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision and monitoring of project activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and output indicators.
• Support the implementation of socioeconomic and agri-business research activities, including literature review, data collection, analysis, and reporting with our interntaiaonl collbaorators.
• Coordinate and facilitate field-level project interventions, working closely with farmers, stakeholders, and local partners.
• Conduct monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of project progress, prepare progress reports, and incorporate feedback into project strategies.
• Facilitate capacity-building initiatives, including training and workshops for field staff and beneficiary groups.
• Support to develop funding proposal and business development
• Maintain strong communication and coordination with internal teams, partner organizations, and relevant government agencies.
• Support field visits, assessments, and evaluations to ensure program effectiveness and learning.
• Perform any other activities as per instruction from our valued collaborator.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Development Studies, Applied Statistics or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in program/project management, preferably in survey project/data-management, agri-business, agricultural development, or related sectors.
• Capable to handle micro-datasets with Econometrics/Statistical Software (STATA and RStudio) with minimum Supervision.
• Proven experience in both research and field project implementation, including business development and M&E.
• Strong project management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bangla (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work remotely with our external collaborator and travel frequently to project sites across Bangladesh.
